ResMed ClimateLineAir™ 10 Heated Tubing
The ResMed ClimateLineAir™ 10 Heated Tube is the definitive comfort upgrade for AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 users — a 15mm slim heated hose that maintains a consistent, controlled temperature from the humidifier all the way to the mask, eliminating rainout and cold air discomfort. The mask-end temperature sensor measures conditions exactly where the air enters your airway — not at the machine — and adjusts heating in real time. Connecting it with the HumidAir humidifier activates Climate Control Auto mode: the machine self-manages all temperature and humidity through the night without any manual input. Temperature range 16°C–30°C. 360° swivel at the machine end. 2m length, 22mm cuff connections for all mask brands. Not compatible with AirSense 11. Part number 37298. Replace every 6 months.

ResMed ClimateLineAir™ 10 Heated Tubing — Overview
The ResMed ClimateLineAir™ 10 Heated Tube is the single most important comfort upgrade available for AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 users. Where standard non-heated tubing delivers air at whatever temperature the room happens to be — often cold in air-conditioned bedrooms — the ClimateLineAir 10 maintains a consistent, controlled temperature all the way from the humidifier to the mask. The result is warmer, more comfortable therapy air and the near-complete elimination of rainout: the condensation that forms inside the tube when warm humid air meets a cold hose and drips into the mask during the night.
The tube's built-in mask-end temperature sensor is what makes the ClimateLineAir fundamentally different from cheaper heated tube alternatives. Most heated tubes heat the air near the machine and hope it stays warm by the time it reaches the mask. ClimateLineAir measures temperature at the mask — where it actually matters — and instructs the heating element to compensate for room temperature and humidity fluctuations throughout the night. When connected to an AirSense 10 or AirCurve 10 with the HumidAir humidifier, it automatically activates Climate Control Auto mode: the machine takes over all temperature and humidity adjustments without you needing to touch any settings.
The 15mm diameter is 40% lighter and considerably more flexible than the traditional 19mm standard hose — it drapes naturally over the bedside with minimal drag on the mask. A 360° swivel connection at the machine end allows the tube to rotate freely as you change sleeping position, preventing the kinking and tugging that disrupts sleep. Compatible with every CPAP mask from all manufacturers. Replace every 6 months. Note: not compatible with AirSense 11 — which uses ClimateLineAir 11.

⚠️ AirSense 11 users: This tube is NOT compatible with AirSense 11 or AirCurve 11 — those machines require the ClimateLineAir 11 (sold separately). Using a heated tube on a CPAP battery will significantly reduce battery runtime — disable heated tubing when running on battery power. Requires HumidAir humidifier with water to function.
🇦🇪 UAE tip: In Dubai's air-conditioned bedrooms, the temperature differential between the room and the humidifier air is often significant — making rainout a common problem for CPAP users who run strong air conditioning at night. The ClimateLineAir 10 is the definitive solution. Always use distilled water in the HumidAir chamber.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need the HumidAir humidifier to use this tube?
Yes — the ClimateLineAir 10 requires the HumidAir heated humidifier with water to function as a heated tube. Without the humidifier, the heating element has no moisture to warm and the tube will not heat. The humidifier is integrated into all AirSense 10 models sold with HumidAir.
Will it work with my AirSense 11?
No — the ClimateLineAir 10 is specifically designed for AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 series machines. AirSense 11 and AirCurve 11 require the dedicated ClimateLineAir 11 tube, which uses a different electrical connection.
What temperature should I set the tube to?
In Climate Control Auto mode, the machine sets this automatically — no input needed. In manual mode, most patients find 27°C (80°F) a comfortable starting point. In air-conditioned UAE bedrooms, you may need to increase toward 30°C to prevent rainout.
Can I use this tube with a CPAP battery pack?
Technically yes, but not recommended. Heated tubing draws substantial additional power and can reduce battery runtime by 70–80%. If using a battery pack (such as the Medistrom Pilot-Flex), disable heated tubing and heated humidification to maximise runtime.
