Worn correctly, the headgear provides stability and an effective seal without pressure. Replace every 6 months or when the fabric straps lose elasticity and can no longer hold the mask in position without over-tightening.

When to Replace Your N20 Headgear
- The fabric straps feel stretched and no longer hold the mask firmly in position

Why should the N20 headgear be worn loosely?
The N20 headgear is designed to position the cushion correctly against the face — the cushion itself creates the seal through its shape and flexibility, not through headgear pressure. Over-tightening pushes the cushion harder into the face than intended, causing discomfort, red marks, and (for AirTouch N20 foam users) compression of the foam that prevents it from conforming to facial contours. If you experience leaks, try repositioning the mask or checking cushion alignment rather than tightening the headgear.
Is the Standard size right for me?
Standard headgear fits most patients and is the size included with new AirFit N20 and AirTouch N20 masks. Small is for patients with a smaller head circumference who find Standard too loose. Large is for patients with a larger head circumference who find Standard too tight. If you received Standard headgear with your mask and it fitted correctly, order Standard.
Can I machine wash the N20 headgear?
No — do not machine wash or tumble dry. Heat damages the elastic fibres and significantly accelerates stretch, reducing headgear life. Hand wash weekly with mild soap and warm water and lay flat to air dry. Proper care extends headgear life toward the 6-month replacement mark.
Can I get same-day delivery in Dubai?
