The Breas Z1 and Z2 are among the most popular travel CPAPs in the world — lightweight, battery-compatible, and remarkably quiet. Their air intake filter is a small foam/felt pad that sits at the machine's inlet port, protecting the motor from the airborne particles encountered during travel. Both the Z1 and Z2 use the same filter design, making this 2-pack compatible with either machine. Being genuine Breas OEM filters, they are the same specification as those included with new Z1 and Z2 units — no sizing discrepancies, no edge gaps.

Travel environments are fundamentally different from home bedrooms: hotel rooms accumulate carpet fibres, synthetic bedding particles, and recirculated air from older HVAC systems; vehicle interiors carry road dust and exhaust particulates; outdoor camping environments expose the machine to pollen, sand, and organic debris that a bedroom filter would rarely encounter. The Z1 and Z2 are frequently used in all of these environments, which is precisely why filter maintenance is particularly important for these machines. Replace every 4 weeks at a minimum, and inspect — and replace if grey — after any trip to a dusty, sandy, or high-particulate environment.

The Z1 and Z2 filters are not washable — the foam/felt material loses its filtration structure when wet and does not recover on drying. These are disposable replacement units only.
