Traditional CPAP headgear uses adjustable side straps that need to be tightened and loosened each night โ€” a process prone to over-tightening, red marks, and inconsistency. The Solo's AutoFit headgear is a stretch fabric band that goes on like a hairband: pull the grey strap over the back of the head and stretch it into position. The orange top strap sits at the crown of the head. To adjust the fit, simply push the cushion toward the nose to tighten, or pull it away to loosen โ€” one gesture, immediate result. Because there are no conventional straps to manipulate, there's no mechanism to accidentally over-tighten.

After the cushion is positioned with a single push, AutoLock engages โ€” holding the cushion at the adjusted position and preventing it from drifting during sleep. How do I adjust the F&P Solo without conventional straps?

Stretch the grey band over the back of your head like a hairband, with the orange strap sitting at the top of your head. Position the nasal cradle cushion under your nose. To tighten, push the cushion toward your nose. To loosen, pull it forward. AutoLock then holds the cushion in that position all night. The split-tail back strap can also be adjusted โ€” pull the tails apart for a tighter fit, or keep them close together for a looser fit.

Can I use Solo Nasal Pillow cushions with the Solo Nasal headgear?

Yes โ€” the Solo Nasal cradle cushion and Solo Nasal Pillow cushions are fully interchangeable on the same frame and headgear. This means one purchase of the Solo Nasal gives you the option to try pillow-style therapy by simply purchasing the pillow cushions separately and snapping them onto your existing frame.

Is the F&P Solo compatible with the ResMed AirMini?

Not without an adapter. The Solo is compatible with all standard CPAP and BiPAP machines using standard 22mm tubing connections. For use with the ResMed AirMini, an AirMini Tubing Connector Adapter and non-heated hose are required. Contact our team for guidance before ordering if you have an AirMini.
