The N30's dual-wall nasal cradle cushion has an inner wall that contacts the face and an outer wall that acts as a pressure buffer. When therapy pressure rises, the outer wall absorbs some of that force rather than transmitting it all to the skin — reducing the pressure marks and facial discomfort that can occur with single-wall cushions at higher therapy pressures.

Standard CPAP headgear requires manual tightening and loosening each time the mask is put on and removed.
