ResMed AirFit P10 Replacement Headgear — Overview
The ResMed AirFit P10 Replacement Headgear is the genuine QuickFit™ elastic headgear for the AirFit P10 and AirFit P10 For Her nasal pillow masks. The P10 is already one of the lightest and simplest CPAP masks available at just 45g — and the headgear is engineered to match. Constructed from warp-knitted nylon, it is ultra-lightweight, breathable, and designed around a single rear QuickFit clip that makes the entire mask system one of the fastest to put on and take off in ResMed's entire range.
Unlike most CPAP headgear that relies on multiple Velcro tabs or magnetic clips, the P10 headgear uses one QuickFit clip at the back. Spread the clip apart to open the headgear and slip it over your head, then draw the ends together to snug it to the correct tension — no fiddly adjustments, no straps to align in the dark. Once set to the right fit, nightly removal and reattachment requires nothing more than spreading and drawing the single clip.
As with all CPAP headgear, the elastic fibres in the warp-knit fabric gradually lose their tension over months of nightly use and regular washing. When this happens, patients compensate by drawing the QuickFit clip tighter than before — eventually reaching the point where the headgear can no longer provide a stable, comfortable fit at any tension setting. Replacing headgear every 6 months prevents this cycle and keeps the P10's minimal, lightweight design working exactly as intended.

When to Replace Your P10 Headgear
- The QuickFit clip is drawn to its tightest setting but the mask still shifts during sleep
- Pillow leaks have increased despite the cushions being recently replaced
- The nylon fabric has visibly lost its spring or shows signs of surface breakdown
- You wake with headgear-related pressure marks on your scalp or temples
- It has been 6 months or longer since the last headgear replacement
✈️ AirMini P10 users: The AirFit P10 headgear is also used with the AirMini P10 setup pack. If you use your P10 with the ResMed AirMini travel CPAP, the same replacement headgear applies — keeping your home and travel mask system consistent.
🧼 Headgear care: Hand wash weekly with mild soap and warm water. Lay flat to air dry away from direct sunlight. The warp-knitted nylon is particularly sensitive to heat — never machine wash or tumble dry, as heat rapidly degrades the elastic fibres and accelerates the loss of the QuickFit clip's snug tension.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this headgear fit the AirFit P10 For Her?
Yes — the AirFit P10 For Her uses the same QuickFit headgear as the standard P10. The For Her version features smaller, female-proportioned dimensions but the same clip mechanism and fitting system.
Is the P10 headgear safe for patients with pacemakers?
Yes — the P10 QuickFit headgear contains no magnetic components. It is safe for patients with pacemakers, cochlear implants, and other active medical implants. Always confirm with your physician before use.
How do I adjust the QuickFit headgear?
Hold the two ends of the QuickFit clip and spread them apart to open the headgear — slip it over your head and position the mask on your face. Draw the clip ends together until the mask rests in place with gentle, even tension. The adjustment is held in position by the clip and does not need to be redone nightly unless the fit has changed.
Can I use this headgear with the AirMini P10 pack?
Yes — the AirFit P10 used in the AirMini P10 setup pack is the same mask with the same headgear. This replacement headgear is compatible with the P10 whether you are using it with a standard bedside CPAP machine or with the ResMed AirMini travel CPAP.
