Only if it's a compatible AirMini mask version. The AirMini uses a proprietary HME system that requires specific mask versions β AirFit N20 for AirMini, AirFit P10 for AirMini, and AirFit F20 for AirMini. You can use standard AirSense masks without HME, but you won't have humidification. Contact our team via WhatsApp to confirm compatibility before ordering.
Can I use the AirMini on a plane?
Yes β the AirMini is FAA approved for in-flight use. As a medical device it typically does not count toward your cabin baggage allowance on most major airlines including Emirates and Etihad, though you should confirm with your airline before travel. Its compact size fits easily under the seat or in the overhead compartment.
Does the AirMini need distilled water?
No β this is one of the AirMini's key advantages. The waterless HME humidification system requires no water at all. The HME cartridge attaches between the mask and tube and provides humidification using the moisture in your own exhaled breath. No water chamber, no distilled water to source or carry.
