The Contour CPAPMax® 2.0 is the most advanced CPAP pillow in the Contour range — specifically engineered to solve the single biggest comfort problem CPAP users face: their pillow pushing against the mask. When a standard pillow presses against a CPAP mask, it breaks the cushion seal, creates air leaks, causes facial pressure marks, and forces patients to either tighten headgear uncomfortably or wake repeatedly to readjust. The CPAPMax 2.0 eliminates this problem with deep bilateral mask cutouts that keep the mask completely clear of pillow contact in both back and side sleeping positions.
Version 2.0 is a significant upgrade over the original CPAPMax. It introduces a 2-in-1 reversible sleeping surface — one side is ventilated 3D mesh memory foam, the other is plush hypoallergenic fiberfill — giving patients two completely different feel options in one pillow. A charcoal-infused base layer actively neutralises odours from nightly use. The hose tether has been extended by 3 inches for greater reach and fewer tug-induced mask shifts. Colour-coded removable foam layers make height adjustment immediate and intuitive, without needing to measure or guess which layer is which.
The pillow is suitable for side, back, and stomach sleepers using any CPAP mask type — nasal pillow, nasal, or full face. The ergonomic profile combines a concave centre zone for aligned back sleeping, a broader lateral facial area for comfortable side sleeping, and a crescent shoulder cutout that reduces the neck and shoulder tension that forces side sleepers to reposition during the night. Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work with full face masks?
Yes — the bilateral mask cutouts are sized to accommodate full face masks including the AirFit F20, AirTouch F20, DreamWear Full Face, and Amara View. The recessed zones keep full face mask frames and cushions clear of pillow contact on both sides.
How do I choose the right height?
Start at the middle height (3" or 4½") and test for one night. If your neck feels angled upward or downward, adjust by one layer. Side sleepers typically need 4½"–5¼"; back sleepers 2¼"–3". The colour-coded layers make adjustment immediate without measuring.
Is the pillow washable?
The polyester cover is machine washable on a low heat gentle cycle. The foam layers themselves are spot clean only — do not submerge or machine wash the foam.
What is the difference between the memory foam side and the fiberfill side?
The memory foam side contours to the shape of your head and retains less heat thanks to the ventilated 3D mesh structure. The fiberfill side has a more traditional soft pillow feel with a lighter, less enveloping contact. Both sides have the same mask cutouts and ergonomic zones.
