It is the same headgear supplied with a new F20 mask โ soft, breathable fabric construction with magnetic lower-strap clips for fast nightly fitting and removal. Standard size fits most patients, with Small and Large available separately for patients needing a more custom fit.
Headgear loses elasticity over time with nightly use and regular washing โ stretched or worn headgear can no longer hold the mask firmly in position, leading to increased leaks even when the cushion is in good condition. Replacing headgear every 6 months or when elasticity is noticeably reduced restores the mask's ability to maintain a consistent seal through the night.

Standard headgear fits most patients and is the size included with new AirFit F20 and AirTouch F20 masks. Small headgear is for patients with a smaller head circumference who find Standard too loose. Large is for patients with a larger head circumference who find Standard too tight. If you received Standard headgear with your mask and it fitted correctly, order Standard.
Can I machine wash the F20 headgear?
No โ do not machine wash or tumble dry the headgear. Heat from washing machines and dryers damages the elastic fibres and significantly accelerates stretch. Hand wash weekly with mild soap and warm water, then lay flat to air dry. Proper care extends headgear life toward the 6-month replacement mark.
