You can connect a standard AirFit P10 to the AirMini, but you won't have the HME waterless humidification without this setup pack. The AirMini P10 Mask Pack provides the AirMini-compatible short tube and HME cartridge required to enable the full waterless humidification experience on the AirMini. If dryness during travel therapy is a concern, this pack is the correct purchase.
What is the HME cartridge and how often does it need replacing?
The HME (Heat Moisture Exchange) cartridge is a small device that attaches between the mask and the AirMini tube. It captures moisture from exhaled breath and releases it on inhalation — waterless humidification with no chamber or water required. Replace the HME cartridge after approximately 30 days of use or when humidification noticeably decreases. Replacement HME cartridges are available from CPAP Medical Trading.
Is this pack compatible with the AirSense 10 or AirSense 11?
No — this is an AirMini-specific setup pack. The AirMini uses a different tube connection and HME system from standard ResMed machines. For the AirFit P10 on an AirSense 10 or AirSense 11, purchase the standard AirFit P10 FitPack instead.
