The Breas (formerly HDM) Z2 CPAP machine is a quieter version of its predecessor Z1 CPAP with additional improved features, an auto start & stop button, and an algorithm for a comfortable CPAP therapy. The addition of Q-Tube to the Breas Z2 CPAP machine ensures lower noise levels even in higher pressures.

Adaptive Pressure Technology for Comfort

The exclusive breathing algorithm and sampling rate of several times per second of the Breas Z2 Auto CPAP delivers an overall lower average airflow pressure compared to a fixed-pressure CPAP machine. The Breas Z2 automatically adjusts the CPAP pressure in sync with your breathing while you sleep.

Auto Start / Stop Feature

The Z2 has a function that allows it to start and stop automatically. When the mask is put on the face and you begin to breathe, this function will automatically begin the therapy. When the mask is removed, the therapy will come to an end. Replace the mask on your face and begin breathing through it to continue the therapy.

Integrated Battery Option

For travel off the grid or where power is limited, add on the optional PowerShell® for a fully integrated battery option. The PowerShell’s Extended Life Battery is a rechargeable, lithium-ion battery that provides a full night’s therapy on a single charge.

Z-Breathe Comfort Feature

To make it easier to exhale, the Z-Breathe technology temporarily reduces the pressure during exhalation. There are 3 airflow settings for patients to personalize their airflow.

HME – Waterless Humidification

The Z2 comes with a small, portable humidification cartridge called an HME (Heat Moisture Exchanger). When inserted between the hose and the mask, it captures the moisture in the exhaled breath and releases it on the inhaled breath. It does not require any electricity or additional water.

• To install, connect the HME's large diameter end to your mask and the smaller diameter end to your CPAP Tube.
• For extended life, store the HME in a sealed plastic bag between usage.
• Replace after 7 days or when it is no longer humidifying.

Breas Z2 Auto CPAP Machine Ramp Mode

The Breas Z2 provides users with a Ramp Mode, allowing them to easily fall asleep as their CPAP machine ramps up to the prescribed therapy pressure. Make sure the machine is in standby mode before adjusting ramp settings.

Z2 Auto Nitelog® Bluetooth App

Your Z2 Auto has a range of functionality from device remote control to data viewing available via its embedded Bluetooth capability. The Z2 Nitelog® App is available for download at the App Store™ for Apple devices or at Google Play for Android devices.

Breas Z2 Auto Travel CPAP Machine Qtube Muffler

The Qtube is a reusable single-patient attachment that reduces acoustic noise that can be conveyed to the patient mask via the CPAP tube. With standard end fittings, the Qtube may be used with any normal (22mm) or slim-style (15mm) CPAP tube. The foam baffling material is already put in the Qtube, so it's ready to use right away.
