Made from durable plastic for long-term use, the CMT adapter is the most cost-effective way to connect the AirMini to a wider range of masks β including masks for which no official ResMed AirMini setup pack exists. At AED 120, it is significantly more affordable than purchasing a dedicated setup pack for each mask you own. Can I use this adapter with any CPAP mask?
Yes β any standard CPAP mask with a 22mm connection can be used with the AirMini via this adapter and a standard non-heated 22mm tube. This includes masks from ResMed, Philips, Fisher & Paykel, BMC, and other brands that use standard connections. Note that HumidX waterless humidification will not be available when using this adapter.
Why would I choose this over an official AirMini setup pack?
There are two main reasons: first, your preferred mask may not have an official AirMini setup pack available. Second, if you already own a mask and a standard 22mm tube and don't need HumidX humidification, this adapter at AED 120 is significantly cheaper than purchasing a dedicated setup pack at AED 450β1,000. The tradeoff is no HumidX waterless humidification.
Can I use a heated tube with this adapter?
No β this adapter is compatible with standard non-heated 22mm tubes only. The AirMini does not support heated tubes in any configuration.
